Guest Feedback

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and we can honestly say we didn’t want to leave.

Shaun and Elene made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, they truly are lovely people. we were so pleased they accepted our offer to join us after dinner one evening as we really enjoyed getting to know them and hear all their stories and they were equally as interested in ours. The personal touches they have at the camp made our stay even more memorable. They always came to see you off in the morning and greet you when you arrive back, always interested to hear about your day.

Abdullah our guide was brilliant, so knowledgeable and was able to get us very close to the animals. I was always amazed by how well the guides can spot the animals from so far away. We very much enjoyed spending 3 days with him and getting to know him as well.

Richard our waiter for our stay was such a nice man, again we really enjoyed having chats with him, asking him questions about his background, the maasai and his family, he also made and effort to ask us questions about our lives back home. He was very attentive and always did everything he could to make our stay so comfortable.”

“We cannot praise this camp highly enough. The staff were brilliant in every way – friendly, attentive and always willing to help in any way. Our guide Francis was both extremely knowledgeable and a delight to spend time with; likewise Sultani who looked after us all so well, paying special kind attention to our daughter when she was feeling unwell for a couple of days. The food was wonderful and we loved how the table position was varied for each of our evening meals. Rooms very comfortable, clean and well-maintained. Sean and his wife who run this superb camp were always on hand to advise and help in needed. All game drives and river safaris were excellent – combining excitement with sheer wonder at the wildlife we encountered. An idyllic 5 days.”

We were staying there for 3 very pleasant days. Both of us were already in many lodges in various countries in Africa. The Selous Kulinda Camp is rather unusual with its very personal attention of the owners/managers.
Best lunch boxes ever 🙂
